Day 1 - 3: Day of Arrival – Lusaka International Airport

On arrival at Lusaka International Airport enjoy a meet and greet service and board a scheduled flight to the Lower Zambezi National Park. Arriving guests may have lunch at Lusaka Airport – flight arrival times and outbound scheduling dependent. The tour arrives at the Royal Airstrip from where guests are met by lodge staff and transferred by safari vehicle to the lodge. This transfer will take approximately 20 minutes. Situated on the northern bank of the Zambezi River, in Zambia, and adjacent Zimbabwe’s Mana Pools World Heritage Site, Baines’ River Camp offers a range of safari activities. The tranquil setting, intimate atmosphere and luxury en-suite air-conditioned Explorer Suites, make this colonial-style safari camp the ideal location for an unforgettable holiday.
Daily activities include river safaris, sunset cruises, fishing (catch and release), canoe safaris, morning and afternoon game drives, night drives and walking safaris. Walking safaris are more comfortable in the autumn and winter months.
