Explore Kenya on this great adventure at Amboseli National Park renowned for its breathtaking views of snow-capped Mount Kilimanjaro – the highest point in Africa at 19,340 feet – with herds of elephant wandering across the vast grassy plain in the foreground and, in the dry season, mirages produced by the salt crystals in the dust on the surface of the sere lake. The park has five main habitats, open plains, acacia woodland, rocky thorn bush country, swamps and marshland.

Then carry on to Nakuru national park famous for its rhinos and birdlife, especially flamingos that form a pink hue across its surface. End with the Masai Mara, Kenya’s finest wildlife reserve, is the northern extension of the Serengeti National Park in Tanzania and its rolling plains are home to hundreds of plains game together with predators that feed on them. Everything about this reserve is outstanding. The wildlife is abundant and the gentle rolling grasslands ensure that animals are never out of sight. Birds, too, are prolific. Including migrants, well over 450 species have been recorded, among them, 57 species of birds of prey.
